on my way
to five deserts in the Middle East. I was 44. Based on first
impressions the relationship nearly didn’t happen. Although he is
handsome, charming and successful, he didn’t meet all my criteria for a
life partner. I realized I loved him after our first big argument, over
dinner on the anniversary of our third month together. In 2011 we are
