About your coach
Moving to Switzerland from England at the age of 12 was decisive. I had
to find my feet and adapt, and in a foreign language. Swiss boarding
school gave me a taste for relationships within different cultures.
Later, running an intercultural communications agency I built
relationships with clients holding differing world views as I adapted
advertising campaigns to various cultures. My marriage to an American
in my 40s brought another dimension to intercultural relationships.
As a psychologist I observed clients learning to understand their
situation and its origins, and yet many stayed in a rut, not living
their dreams.
During training in co-active coaching I discovered how to
facilitate change. The shift in my thinking and the actions that
followed were remarkable and convinced me that this was the way ahead.
