How coaching works
Coaching serves as a catalyst to help you reach and exceed your wildest
expectations in all areas of your life. Through the process of inquiry
and personal discovery, it builds your levels of awareness and
responsibility and provides you with structure, support and feedback.
You develop clarity and focus that you translate into actions to
achieve your desired results. Limiting self beliefs are silenced and
you are free to be yourself. Thanks to a fuller knowledge of what is
important to you at your present stage in life you gain accurate
insight into your true needs. You become better able to take steps
towards filling them. You learn to take charge of your situation, even
when it is not easy. You are free to dream and reach confidently for
the stars, carving out the future you really want for yourself.
Coaching is not advice, counselling or therapy. It addresses specific
personal projects, business successes, or general conditions in your
life.
The term co-active refers to the fundamental nature of our coaching
relationship in which the coach and client work together actively. The
client is held as naturally creative, resourceful and whole.
Nevertheless there are times when you are stuck in a rut or facing
challenges and when something extra is needed to free you and set the
wheels in motion again. This is where I come in...
Programmes
I offer various programmes to suit different needs, either on a one to
one basis or in small workshops. These include:

One to one coaching begins with a 30-minute introduction to the
coaching process, discussion of your wishes and what you can expect.
There is no charge for this meeting. If we decide to work together, I
will ask you to answer some preparatory questions. Next comes a
90-minute discovery session. You will look at where you are in your
life at the moment in areas such as relationships, having more fun,
career, or home life.
The next sessions last 50 minutes and focus on topics that you choose
to be coached on. You, the client, decide what is important to you and
where the emphasis needs to be placed. In between sessions you will
have a certain amount of “homework” to be accountable for, in order to
reach your goals. A shift in perception can occur quite rapidly. An
initial series of six sessions is recommended.
